Tashkent. September 19th. UzTAG – In Uzbekistan, with the support of international experts from the International Labor Organization (ILO), it is planned to create a Confederation of Employers, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
To this end, a two-day seminar was organized in Tashkent to study international experience in creating such a confederation.
The seminar was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the ILO.
Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Utkir Butaev emphasized that the study of international best practices is very important at the initial stages of creating the Confederation of Employers of Uzbekistan, and also noted further positive aspects of its creation.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the seminar was attended by representatives of more than 33 organizations and associations of Uzbekistan, including the association “Uztekstilprom”, “Uzcharmsanoat”, the Council of Farmers, Dekhkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan and others.
Vladimir Churovich, an ILO expert, made a presentation on the topic “Creating and managing an employers’ organization, supporting ASTEMR employers’ organizations through cooperation”. During the seminar, the experience of Slovenia, Germany, Turkey and Montenegro on the establishment of the Employers’ Organization and its activities was studied.
